72 Hour Urban Action Lobeda was realized in May 2019. 72HUA challenged residents and visitors, professionals and amateurs to look at local conflicts, potentials and aspirations, and to design and build projects in public space in response to those issues. It is an opportunity to rethink assumptions on what could be done, how and by whom.
Since 2010 72 Hour Urban Action had been performed in various constellations and scales in Israel, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Russia, Turkey and Malta. In previous editions the results of the event became part of the history and life of neighbourhoods, we are hard at work to make sure that the new connections, ideas and spirit benefit both residents and participants in Lobeda as well.
